Occupancy schedule and week view in StalliQ

As of: June 2026 · App version 1.0.0+ · Last verified: 25/06/2026

How to use the occupancy schedule: Open the stable tab and choose "Schedule" - the week view opens right away. Use the two icons in the top right (List / Grid) to switch between the list view and the week view. In the week view you'll see a time grid with all hours of the week - color-coded by capacity. Green means free spots, yellow partially booked, red full. Tap an appointment for details.

What does the week view look like?

The week view shows a time grid with:

Header: Calendar week and date range (e.g. "CW 12: 17-23 March 2026"). Arrows on the left/right to navigate between weeks. A "Today" link to jump to the current week. The current day is marked with a teal dot.

Time grid: Times on the left, weekdays at the top (Mon-Sun with date). By default the grid shows the time range around lesson hours and automatically expands if appointments start earlier or end later. Each riding lesson or booking appears as a block in the grid.

All-day appointments: Shown as pills at the top of the respective day column (e.g. competitions, stable holidays). All all-day appointments of a day are displayed - there is no limit.

Overlaps: Up to 3 simultaneous appointments are displayed side by side.

What do the capacity colors mean?

Each appointment block has a color that shows the capacity:

The colors help you see at a glance where you still have capacity and where bottlenecks are forming.

How do I navigate between weeks?

Use the arrows on the left and right in the header. Tap "Today" to return to the current week. The header always shows the calendar week and date range of the displayed week.

How do I open appointment details?

Tap a block in the time grid. The occurrence detail view opens with all the information: participant list, booking status, school horse assignment and attendance tracking.

If you open a lesson or appointment in the web portal via the appointment detail page, it offers full per-person participant management: mark attendance, cancel a booking, take/cancel/refund a cash payment, rebook and resolve an open payment method - all via a per-participant action menu. It's the same management as in the mobile app, just in the browser (manager function). See Riding lessons and Payment model for details.

Can members book facilities themselves?

Yes, if the stable operator has enabled the "Book facilities" permission for the relevant role (Admin → Organization → Roles & Permissions). Members then see a FAB button (plus icon at the bottom right) in the occupancy schedule, which they can use to create their own facility bookings - e.g. for free riding in the arena or lunging on the outdoor arena. The booking goes through the capacity and space requirement check just like a riding lesson, so double bookings are prevented. More details under Facilities, disciplines and skill levels.

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch between list view and week view in StalliQ?

Yes. In the Schedule tab you can use the two icons in the top right (List / Grid) to switch between the list view and the week view (time grid for the whole week). The list view shows a chronological list of appointments with a horizontally scrollable date strip spanning several weeks (not limited to a single Mon-Sun week). Both views show the same appointments.

Do members also see the week view in StalliQ?

Yes, all stable members see the Schedule tab with the week view. The capacity colors also help members find lessons with free spots.

Why are some blocks in the week view gray?

Gray means that no maximum number of participants is configured for that lesson. In this case StalliQ can't calculate the capacity. Set the "Max. participants" like this: Admin → Riding School → "Schedule" section → tap the relevant lesson → "Edit lesson" → set the "Max. participants" field. This enables the color coding.
