Here's how you create a stable in StalliQ: Open the Stable tab, tap "Create stable", enter the name and address, and tap "Save". StalliQ automatically generates a 6-digit invitation code that you share with your members. After that, you set up roles, facilities, disciplines, and the schedule. The basic features (member list, announcements) are free - for the schedule, booking system, and statistics you need a stable subscription starting at €45/month.
How do I create a stable?
Open the Stable tab and tap "Create stable". Fill in the following fields:
- Name - The name of your stable (required field)
- Address - Street, postal code, and city (used for the weather widget and events)
- Description - A short description of your stable
- Opening hours - Free text
- Stable rules - Rules for your members
- Contact - Phone, email, website
Tap "Save". Your stable is created instantly and you are automatically registered as the owner with full permissions.
How do I invite members?
After creation, StalliQ generates a 6-digit invitation code (e.g. "A3K9M2"). You'll find this code in the management area under the stable settings. Share the code with your members - by message, notice board, or word of mouth.
When a member enters the code in their app, you receive a push notification and see the request in the members area under "Join requests". Tap "Accept" to unlock the member, or "Decline" to reject the request.
You can regenerate the invitation code at any time (the old one then becomes invalid).
What roles are there?
StalliQ has four standard roles with configurable permissions:
Owner - Full access to all features. Can manage roles, settings, and the stable itself.
Manager - Can use the schedule, members, facilities, lesson cards, and most management features. Cannot change stable settings.
Riding instructor - Can view and edit the schedule, record attendance, and assign school horses.
Member - Can view the schedule, book riding lessons, read announcements, and use lesson cards. No management features.
The permissions for each role are configurable under Management → Roles & Permissions.
What can I do in the management area?
The Management tab (visible to owners and authorized roles) offers four tiles:
Settings - Stable name, address, description, opening hours, stable rules, contact, invitation code, and booking rules (cancellation deadlines, booking limit, allow rebooking).
Roles & Permissions - Configure standard roles, create new roles, set permissions per role (7 permission categories: Settings, Roles, Members, Schedule, Quotas, Skill levels, Horse assignments).
Members - Member list with roles, skill levels, and statistics. Accept or decline join requests. Member detail page with skill level, managed persons, attendance rate, and late cancellation rate.
School operations - Manage facilities and disciplines, define skill levels, configure lesson card types. You'll find a complete step-by-step guide with the recommended order under Setting up school operations.
How do I manage my stable's members?
In the members area you see all accepted members with name, role, and skill level. For pending join requests, a "Join requests" badge appears at the top.
Tap a member to open the detail page. There you can:
- Change the role (e.g. Member → Riding instructor)
- Assign a skill level (needed for the skill level check when booking)
- See the member's managed persons and set their skill levels
- View statistics (attendance rate, late cancellation rate over the last 90 days)
