How to keep the health record in StalliQ: Open the horse profile, choose the "Health" tab and tap the category you want (e.g. vet, vaccination, deworming). Tap "Add entry", fill in the fields and save. StalliQ offers 10 categories, automatic follow-up appointment suggestions and a chronological timeline of all health entries.
Which categories are there?
StalliQ offers 10 categories for health entries:
- Vet - General check-ups and treatments
- Vaccination - Vaccination appointments (tetanus, influenza, herpes, rabies, etc.)
- Deworming - Dewormings with active-ingredient rotation
- Dentist - Dental treatments
- Farrier - Hoof care and shoeing
- Injury - Wounds and injuries with follow-up tracking
- Illness - Diseases with progress documentation
- Surgery - Surgical procedures
- Preventive care - Preventive appointments and check-ups
- Other - Everything else
Each category has its own icon and color, so you can tell entries apart at a glance in the timeline.
How do I create a health record entry?
In the Health tab, tap the category you want and then "Add entry". The form contains:
For all categories:
- Category - Horizontal pill buttons, with the chosen category pre-selected
- Date - Date of the visit or treatment
- Title - Short description (e.g. "Annual vaccination", "Autumn deworming")
- Service provider - Choose a saved contact or create a new one
- Notes - Free text for treatment details
Additionally for vaccination and deworming:
- Product / active ingredient - e.g. "Equilis Prequenza Te" or "Ivermectin"
- Batch number - For traceability
For vaccinations, StalliQ recommends: "Create one entry per vaccine - that way each vaccination gets its own follow-up appointment."
For dewormings, StalliQ shows the most recently used active ingredient and recommends a rotation.
Additionally for injury, illness and surgery:
- Follow-up - Free text for the course of treatment and progress
Tap "Save" in the top right.
How do follow-up appointments work?
After saving an entry in certain categories, StalliQ asks: "Would you like to set up a reminder for the next appointment?" You have two options:
- "Create follow-up appointment" - Creates a calendar appointment with a reminder
- "Not now" - Skip
The suggested default intervals:
- Vaccination, deworming, dentist, preventive care: 12 months
- Farrier: 6 weeks
You can freely adjust the date in the follow-up appointment.
Due and overdue appointments are shown as badges in the Health tab: Red for overdue, Orange for due soon (within 14 days).
How do I view the health timeline?
In the Health tab, tap the "History" tile. The Unified Health Timeline shows not only health record entries, but all health-related events merged chronologically:
- Health record entries (vet, vaccination, deworming, etc.)
- Symptoms (first occurrence and new observations)
- Weight measurements
- Allergy and chronic-illness status changes
Each entry shows the date, category icon, title and an excerpt of the notes.
At the top you'll find filter buttons: "All" and then one per category. That way you can see, for example, only vaccinations or only symptoms at a glance. From the timeline you can directly export the health record as a PDF.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find my horse's last vaccination in StalliQ?
Open the horse profile → Health → Vaccinations. You'll see all vaccination entries sorted chronologically. Alternatively, use the health timeline and filter by "Vaccination".
Can I attach documents to a health record entry in StalliQ?
Yes. Use the doc scan in the Health tab to scan a document with your camera. The AI extracts the data and automatically creates a health entry. The original document is stored in the document library and linked to the entry.
Who can view the health record in StalliQ?
Only you as the owner and people you've shared the horse with. Visibility depends on the role: a vet sees health data, a horse sharer only sees appointments. You can adjust each role's permissions under horse profile → Sharing.
How do I document an ongoing treatment in StalliQ?
Create an entry in the "Injury" or "Illness" category. These categories have an extra "Follow-up" field where you can document the course of treatment over time. For daily observations, we also recommend a symptom entry with an observation log (see Documenting symptoms).
