How to find and book events in StalliQ: Tap the compass icon in the top right of the dashboard or go to More → My Events. The Discover view shows public events like clinics, courses and competitions. Tap an event for details and choose "Book". Participation is always free for those booking - only the organizer pays event credits.

What are public events?

Events in StalliQ are activities like clinics, riding courses, competitions or workshops. There are two kinds:

Public events - Visible to all StalliQ users in the Discover view. Anyone can book. Uses 1 event credit when published.

Stable-internal events - Visible only to members of the stable (recognizable by the lock icon). Uses no event credits. Ideal for internal clinics, stable championships or courses meant only for your own riding school.

How do I find events in StalliQ?

You can find events two ways:

Discover (compass icon): In the top right of the dashboard. Shows all public events near you or by search term.

My Events: In the More tab under "My Events". There you see events you've booked and events you organize yourself.

How do I book an event?

Tap an event in the Discover view. The detail page shows:

Tap "Book" and choose your preferred slot. For events with performance classes, only slots that match your level are shown.

Multiple entries: If the organizer has allowed multiple entries, a "Add another entry" button appears after your first booking - so you can start with different horses or in different classes.

Which booking modes are there?

The organizer defines how booking works when creating the event. You can tell which one applies on the event detail page:

Self-selection: You see all available slots with open spots and choose yourself. Tap the slot you want and then "Book" - your booking is confirmed immediately. Typical for clinics and courses.

Organizer assigns: You see an "Sign up" button instead of individual slots. You register for the event and the organizer decides which slot you get - e.g. based on performance class or starting order. You get a push notification as soon as the assignment is published. Until then your booking shows "Assignment pending". Typical for competitions and tests.

How do I cancel an event booking?

Open the event in "My Events" and tap "Cancel". Depending on the event configuration, there is a cancellation deadline. After the deadline passes, cancellation is no longer possible - in that case, contact the organizer directly via the messaging feature.

How do I contact the organizer?

On the event detail page you'll find a button to send the organizer a direct message. StalliQ automatically creates a conversation between you and the organizer.

Frequently asked questions

Do events in StalliQ cost participants anything?

No. Booking and attending events is free for all users - even with the FREE plan. Event credits (needed for publishing) are paid only by the organizer.

Can I create events myself in StalliQ?

Yes, with the PRO plan (€9.99/month) you get 3 event credits per month. Stable operators get 5–50 credits depending on tier. Each published event uses one credit. Details under Creating public events and Pricing.

What are performance classes in StalliQ events?

Organizers can define performance classes (e.g. E, E/A, A*, L, M, S - based on the equestrian sport standard). Slots are then filtered by performance class, so you only see suitable starting spots. Not every event uses performance classes - for events without this restriction you see all available slots.

How do I see which events I'm booked for in StalliQ?

Go to More → My Events. There you see all events with your booking status (confirmed, assignment pending, cancelled). Booked events also appear in your calendar.

Organizers can share an event as a link (e.g. https://stalliq.app/event/{id}). If someone taps the link in WhatsApp, email or social media, StalliQ automatically opens on their phone right at the event detail. If the recipient doesn't have StalliQ installed, they see a landing page with an event preview and installation instructions. This way you can promote events across stables - without any complicated registration links.
