StalliQ is free to use as a freemium app. With the FREE plan you manage one horse, use the calendar, join stables and get 3 AI queries per month - no time limit, no ads. For advanced features there's PLUS (€4.99/month) and PRO (€9.99/month). Stable operators pay €45–175/month depending on size. Using StalliQ as a riding student or boarder in a stable is always free.
Which subscriptions are there for horse owners?
StalliQ offers three subscription tiers for personal use:
FREE (€0) - Manage one horse, calendar, contacts, messages, join a stable and book riding lessons, document health records (without AI), 3 AI queries per month.
PLUS (€4.99/month) - Everything in FREE plus: unlimited horses, document AI (scan findings and invoices with the camera and analyze them automatically), cost analysis with trends and export, share a horse with multiple people (multi-user sharing), 15 AI queries per month.
PRO (€9.99/month) - Everything in PLUS plus: create public events (3 event credits per month included), Heritage contact requests, priority support, 50 AI queries per month.
What are AI queries?
AI queries (AI credits) are the quota for the AI-powered features in StalliQ. Each query uses one credit. Currently AI credits are used for the document AI (OCR): you photograph a vet invoice, a vaccination record or a finding, and the AI automatically extracts the date, diagnoses, treatments, medications, costs and the next appointment. The policy scan in the insurance management also uses one AI credit per scan (insurer, plan, contract details are read out automatically).
Your monthly quota resets on the 1st of each month. Unused credits expire at the end of the month. If you need more, you can top up at any time:
- 10 AI queries for €1.99
- 30 AI queries for €4.99
Topped-up credits don't expire at the end of the month. When you use them, the monthly credits are consumed first, then the purchased ones (FIFO principle).
What are event credits?
You need event credits to publish public events (clinics, courses, tournaments) in StalliQ. Each published event uses one event credit. Booking and participating in events is free for all users - only the organizer pays credits.
PRO users get 3 event credits per month. Stable operators get 5–50 event credits depending on their tier. You can buy additional event credits:
- 5 event credits for €9.99
- 15 event credits for €19.99
Which stable subscriptions are there for operators?
Stable operators can manage their stable digitally in StalliQ - with a timetable, booking system, attendance tracking, lesson cards and statistics. The subscriptions are based on stable size:

The Free tier covers community features: member list, announcements and basic functions. For the full feature set with timetable, booking system, attendance tracking, lesson cards, skill levels and a statistics dashboard, a paid stable subscription is required.
Using a stable as a member (riding student, boarder) is always free - only the stable operator pays.

Is using a stable as a riding student free?
Yes. Joining a stable, viewing the timetable, booking riding lessons, getting on the waitlist, using lesson cards, reading announcements - all of that is free and works with the FREE plan. Your stable operator pays for the stable subscription, not you as a member.

Can I use StalliQ completely free?
Yes. The FREE plan has no time limit, no ads and includes all basic functions: manage one horse, calendar, contacts, messages, stable connection with riding lesson booking, health record and 3 AI queries per month. Only for multiple horses, cost analysis or the document AI do you need a paid subscription.
What happens to my data if I cancel my StalliQ subscription?
Your data is preserved. You get downgraded to the FREE plan and can keep using one horse and all basic functions. With multiple horses, all profiles are preserved, but you can no longer edit them until you switch back to PLUS or PRO.
How do I top up AI credits in StalliQ?
Open the More tab, go to settings and tap "AI Credits". There you'll see your current quota and can buy top-up packs (10 queries for €1.99 or 30 queries for €4.99). Payment goes through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play.
How do stable subscriptions for operators work in StalliQ?
Stable subscriptions are billed directly with StalliQ, not through the App Store. Billing is done annually in advance by invoice. The minimum term is 12 months with automatic renewal - cancellation at least 3 months before the term ends. Beta stables get a special discount. Contact us at kontakt@stalliq.de to set it up.
Can I switch between subscriptions in StalliQ?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time - the change takes effect immediately and the remaining balance of the old subscription is credited proportionally. When downgrading, the current subscription is kept until the end of the term and then switched to the cheaper subscription.
