Managing your photo gallery and pictures in StalliQ

How to manage photos in StalliQ: Open the horse profile and select the "Gallery" tab. You'll see all photos as a grid - tap a photo to open the full-screen viewer with pinch-zoom and swipe. Use the plus button to upload new photos and assign tags (e.g. training, competition, health). Photos can be set as the profile picture or saved to your device's gallery.

How do I upload photos?

In the Gallery tab, tap the plus button. Pick one or more photos from the camera or your device storage. Optionally, you can:

System tags cannot be added or removed manually - they are managed automatically.

How do I filter photos by tags?

Above the grid you'll find tag filters as chips. Tap a tag (e.g. "Training") to see only photos with that tag. Tap again or tap "All" to clear the filter.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Every photo you add to a diary entry is automatically saved in the gallery and tagged with the system tag "Diary" plus an automatic caption (activity + date). If you change the diary photo or delete the entry, the gallery item is removed as well.

Yes, if you've granted that role the gallery permission (read). By default, most roles can view the gallery. Write access (uploading photos) requires a separate permission.

How many photos can I upload in StalliQ?

There's no limit. All photos are compressed and stored in the cloud. With a very large number of photos, the initial loading may take a bit longer.

Yes. Open the photo in the full-screen viewer and select "Set as profile picture" from the menu. The photo is immediately shown as your horse's avatar in the horse list and in the profile.
