Getting Started with StalliQ

How to get started with StalliQ: Download the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), create an account via email, Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, go through the short onboarding and add your first horse. After that, five tabs are available to you: Home (Dashboard), Horses, Calendar, Stable and More. The entire setup takes under 3 minutes.

How do I create a StalliQ account?

Open the app and select "Sign up" on the login screen (at the bottom, next to "No account yet?"). You have three options:

By email: Enter your name, your email address and a password. The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. Tap "Create account". StalliQ then shows you a notice that a confirmation email has been sent to your address. Confirm the link in this email - only then is your account activated and you can sign in. If you try to sign in before that, StalliQ specifically points out that the email address has not yet been confirmed (instead of a generic error message).

With Apple Sign-In: Tap "Sign in with Apple". Your account is automatically linked to your Apple ID - no password needed.

With Google Sign-In: Tap "Sign in with Google". Choose your Google account and the registration is completed instantly.

With Apple and Google Sign-In, you go straight into the onboarding. When registering by email, you reach it as soon as you have confirmed your email address and signed in.

What happens during onboarding?

After registration, you go through five short steps:

1. Welcome: A greeting with the note "Your horse deserves the best care." Tap "Let's go".

2. Privacy & consent: You must accept the terms of use and the privacy policy (required). Optionally, you can allow the processing of health data (for medical records, vaccinations etc.) and consent to anonymous usage analytics. Tap "Next".

3. Feature overview: Three slides show you the most important features - horse profile, appointment reminders and health documentation. You can swipe through these slides or go straight on with "Skip".

4. Notifications: StalliQ asks whether you want to enable push notifications. These remind you of appointments, booking confirmations and stable news. You can also do this "Later" in the settings.

5. Add your first horse: Enter your horse's name and select the sex (stallion, mare or gelding). Tap "Add horse". You can also skip this step and add the horse later.

How is the app structured?

StalliQ has five tabs in the bottom navigation:

Home - Your dashboard with quick capture (doc scan, appointment, expense, symptom, journal), your horses as a carousel, the upcoming appointments for the next 7 days (tappable for details), the costs for the current month and stable news.

Horses - An overview of all your horses. Tap a horse for the full profile with master data, gallery, weight, costs and health. You add new horses via the turquoise plus button at the bottom right.

Calendar - Monthly and weekly view of all appointments. You see vet visits, farrier appointments, vaccinations, competitions and more. You create new appointments via the plus button.

Stable - Everything around your riding stable (if you have joined one): timetable, resource booking, announcements and lesson cards. More on this under Joining a stable.

More - Your profile, settings, service providers (contacts), events, people you care for, legal documents, feedback and help.

How do I add more horses?

Open the Horses tab and tap the turquoise plus button at the bottom right. Enter at least the name and the sex. Optionally, you can add breed, color, date of birth, UELN number, country of origin and a photo. Tap "Save".

With the FREE plan, you can add one horse. For more horses, you need the PLUS or PRO plan. Details under Pricing and plans.

How do I edit my profile?

Open the More tab and tap your name or your profile picture at the top. On the profile screen, you can edit your display name, your phone number and your language. Under "Notifications", you configure push notifications, email notifications, reminder lead time and quiet hours. Under "Security", you can change your password.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a subscription to use StalliQ?

No. StalliQ can be used as a freemium app. With the free FREE plan, you can manage one horse, use the calendar, add contacts, join a stable and use 3 AI queries per month. For advanced features such as multiple horses, cost analysis or document AI, there are the PLUS (€4.99/month) and PRO (€9.99/month) plans.

Can I sign in to StalliQ with Apple or Google?

Yes. On the login screen, you'll find the buttons "Sign in with Apple" (iOS only) and "Sign in with Google" (iOS and Android). You don't need a separate password - your account is linked directly to your Apple or Google account.

How do I join a stable in StalliQ?

Open the Stable tab and tap "Join stable". Enter the 6-digit invitation code you received from your stable operator. After confirmation by the stable operator, you have access to the timetable, resource booking and all stable features. Details under Joining a stable.

Can I use StalliQ without a stable too?

Yes. StalliQ also works completely without a stable connection. You can add horses, manage appointments, keep the medical record, track costs and use the journal. The stable features (booking riding lessons, timetable, lesson cards) require a stable connection.

How do I delete my StalliQ account?

Open the More tab, tap your profile, scroll all the way down to the "Danger zone" section and tap "Delete account". You have to type the word "DELETE" to confirm the deletion. All your data is irreversibly deleted (GDPR Art. 17).
