How to find the settings in StalliQ: Open the More tab and tap "Settings". There you manage your subscription and your AI credits, choose the theme (Light/Dark/System), manage your privacy consents, and can export your data (GDPR Art. 20).
What can I find in the settings?
The settings are organized into three areas:
Subscription & Credits - Your current subscription (FREE, PLUS, or PRO), remaining AI credits (e.g. "2/3"), event credits (PRO only), a button to upgrade, restore purchases, and manage your subscription in the App Store.
Appearance - Theme selection with three options:
- System - Follows your device's setting (Light/Dark)
- Light - Always light mode
- Dark - Always dark mode
Privacy - Manage consents and export data.
How do I manage my consents?
Under Settings → Consents you can see the status of your privacy consents:
Required (cannot be changed):
- Terms of Use - Accepted on [date]
- Privacy Policy - Accepted on [date]
Optional (revocable at any time):
- Health Data Processing - Allows documentation of vet visits, vaccinations, and treatments. If you disable this, certain health features may be limited.
- Anonymous Analytics - Helps us improve the app. No personal data.
You can switch both optional consents on or off at any time via a toggle. A note points this out: "When revoked, certain features may be limited."
How do I change my email address?
Go to More → Profile → "Edit" → tap the email field. You'll be asked to enter your current password for verification (with Apple/Google Sign-In, OAuth re-authentication is started). Enter the new email address and tap "Send confirmation email". StalliQ sends a confirmation link to the new address - the link is valid for 24 hours. Only after you click the link is the email address updated in your account.
Until confirmation, you can still sign in with the old email. After confirmation, the new email applies for login and all notifications.
How do I export my data?
Under Settings → Export my data you can download all your data as a JSON file (GDPR Art. 20 - right to data portability). Tap the button, confirm in the dialog, and StalliQ creates a file with all your data: profile, horses, health data, appointments, costs, contacts, and messages.
The file is provided for download as stalliq-export-YYYY-MM-DD.json.
How do I delete my account?
You'll find account deletion under More → Profile → Edit → at the very bottom in the "Danger Zone" area. Tap "Delete account" and type the word "DELETE" to confirm. All data is irreversibly deleted - profile, horses, health data, appointments, costs, messages, stable memberships, and shared horses. This action cannot be undone.

Can I switch between light and dark mode in StalliQ?
Yes. Under Settings → Appearance you choose between System (adjusts automatically), Light, and Dark. The change takes effect immediately.
What happens if I revoke the health data consent in StalliQ?
Existing health data is retained, but you can no longer create new health records. You can re-enable the consent at any time.
How long does account deletion take in StalliQ?
Deletion happens immediately. All data is irreversibly removed from the database. There is no waiting period and no way to restore it.
